Beneficent have locations around Adelaide and South Australia. Their team provides computer training and support for people with disability.
You can learn a range a digital skill topics like:
- Basic computer skills: If you’ve never turned a computer on before, this is for you
- Word: Used in almost all workplaces, Word is a robust and popular document writer
- Excel: Used for budgets, lists and graphs, excel is a standard in many organisations
- Powerpoint: Discover the joy of giving an online or in person presentation with powerpoint
- Internet: The internet is a treasure trove of information – discover how to navigate the millions of websites and how to make sense of the sites once you get to one.
- Email: Communicate with peers, friends, families and carers. Learn email etiquette, how to add and save attachments and get the most out of your inbox.
- Zoom: Connect with employers and family with zoom and other video calling platforms.
- Smartphones and Tablets: Better understand the device settings and whether to swipe up or down or press a home button.
Where is the training delivered?
South Australia: Our one-on-one training can be delivered anywhere in South Australia an online medium, this allows us to share screens and see what you are seeing. Some of our participants find this daunting at first but once accustomed to it love it for its convenience and accessibility.
